Yes as you pointed out the hardware/firmware is very similar to the i6s. I would love to see an openTX port for both the Evo and the I6S.

It is compatible with all the Turnigy receivers I had on had to test with (IA6, IA6B and IA6C). It has an integrated Lipo cell and is charged via the micro USB. It has 4 configurable aux channels and five model memory slots. I did not run into any range issues while using it on my mini quad but remember that is also quite reciever and antenna placement dependent.

No, guess this is a first for me. Yes, the firmware and features are very similar to the I6s. you can assign a total of ten channels, the four standard channels and six Aux channels. Micro USB port for charging and Sims.

Space is very tight inside the transmitter but i would love to see it in action if you get the DIY module to fit.
